Artist Statement: Robert was born in Zagreb, the capital and cultural heart of Croatia formerly (Yugoslavia). Here he received and studied classic training in European fine arts and graduated from the renown School of Applied Arts in Zagreb. Robert emigrated to Toronto Canada and pursued his passion for art as a graphic designer specializing in package and corporate design where he started his own graphic design company handling and creating multifaceted, award winning designs for many of Canada’s leading packaged goods and retail companies. Art has always been Robert's passion and in mid 2005 he turned his attention to painting on a full time basis. More recently, he has developed an interest in abstract art which he creates in his studio located in mid town Toronto.
