Artist Statement: I am a self taught artist. I work in oils and my main goal is to achieve the effect of depth and transparency of the objects I paint. Most of my paintings belong to the category of still life. My compositions are intuitive, never painted from settings. I give myself a lot of freedom to experiment and usually leave the established artistic rules behind. Nevertheless I constantly strife to improve my artistic skills and try to learn through observation of the nature. Each painting is an attempt to pour my best ability into an image I am working on. My style is realistic but highly subjective, reflecting rather my imaginative interpretation of reality.
