Statement: I have been an artist all my life, playing with many different mediums - oils, watercolor, clay, and my favorite bronze sculpture; but it wasn’t until I discovered fabric and fiber that my true passion was realized. I have never looked back. Fiber connects with my heart and soul. Touching and manipulating the layers of color and texture allows me to viscerally incorporate my emotions and life experiences into my work. The Goddess, Day of the Dead, New Orleans and music are constant muses and inspiration, as I continue to seek the ultimate expression for my next piece. My work has been shown internationally, and throughout California and the Pacific Northwest.
