Qualified Artwork:
Open to all artists utilizing the quilt medium. The traditional definition of a quilt is three layers stitched together. However, many artists have adopted non-traditional approaches and interpretations of the quilted medium by utilizing two layers (front and back) that are stitched together. All art quilts that satisfy either approach qualify for submission. There are no restrictions on the type of materials used to create layers, the materials used to stitch layers together, or the method of stitching.
